    F.S.: Ariel in AL

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1965-...m300222982513&

1965 Ariel Pearson 26' sloop, mast, boom, tiller, rudder, 3 sails, mount for a outboard, no engine, no trailer, no fiberglass damage, she needs TLC, been sitting for over 2 years, battery was bad, anchor, "V" - berth, sink, cushions need recovered, head. She could use a buff to hull and bottom paint. At one time she had a gas atomic inboard, but the end was removed, now just for storage, a mount for a outboard. Full keel, made very good.

I know where this boat is located, I work only a few miles from it's location in Huntsville. I could get more pics or info on this boat if someone needs it. I have a trailer if someone local needed it to transport the boat.

    Mike,

If you visit, see if you can get the hull number. We may have an old listing in the registry for her.

    Bill,

I tired getting the hull number and I couldnt find one. There's a teak mounting plate where the hull number is normally located. It looks like a compass may have been mounted there at one time. The old registration number is FL9451BU. You could emailed the seller, maybe he has the hull number. The boat doesnt look as good as the pictures, those pictures are from Florida. The boat has been located here in Huntsville, AL over a year, maybe alot more. The actual location of the boat is N34º45.591' W86º40.804' Let me know if there is any other info you might need.

I'm sure that's the wrong picture for the inside of the boat.

Figured that must have been a mistake

One time I saw a picture of my boat in an ad, without identifying her as a sistership

If someone is shopping for a boat, you might want to expand the search parameters a bit

I've seen them listed anywhere from 24 to 28 feet long

Model years from 1959 to 1972

Draft and beam all over the place

    Arial, Aeriel, Aerial, etc.

Generally not a good sign if the seller doesn't even know what kind of boat they have

Somebody put some work into her years ago. The next owner probably did the portlights

Is that step in front of the sink an add-on, or is it OEM for certain years, inboard versions maybe? Or is it just something sitting there?

Clicked on link, but they only have the single view of it.

Step is not stock. You'll see the factory original setup in other photos on the board.

    Thanks,

Was wondering about that, thought it was an add-on, but then noticed there's a round sink, and mine's square so thought it may be a year to year change.
